The bio page details my boat building and yacht design experience. I began my career working as a boat builder for industry leaders, Sea Ray Boats (who at the time were one of the largest producers of quality sports boats and yachts worldwide) and Oceanfast Motor Yachts (builders of large luxury motor yachts achieving speeds in excess of 35 knots).
With a passion for design ignited by my boat building experience, I completed formal studies in naval architecture which gave me the opportunity to work for a number of leading naval architects and designers. The time in their offices proved invaluable, giving me exposure to all aspects of yacht and boat design. I have enjoyed working on many exciting projects including collaborations with renowned yacht designers and stylists.
The combination of my boat building and yacht design experience has reinforced my belief that a truly successful yacht design is one in which all of the components of the design: engineering, stability and weight distribution, exterior styling, spatial and interior design must complement each other so that the overall design is one of cohesion.
